Our Mission

My mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy that is tailored to each person’s unique needs. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and change. Using an integrative approach that draws on Person-Centred Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I strive to create a safe and supportive space for both adults and adolescents to explore their experiences, understand their emotions, and clarify their goals. Together, we build resilience, develop practical coping tools, and work toward creating more meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Personal Therapy

About me
My name is Dr. Andrew Simonton, and I am a Counselling Psychologist. I completed my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at Trinity College Dublin, and I am a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). I’m passionate about supporting people as they navigate the challenges of life, whether that’s stress, trauma, relationships, or questions of identity, and much more.

As someone with dyslexia myself, I bring a neuro-affirming perspective to my practice, valuing and respecting the many different ways people experience and process the world. I strive to create a supportive space where neurodivergent voices are understood and celebrated.

Outside of my work, I have a love for cooking and am currently enjoying the challenge of baking my own sourdough bread.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and flexible, shaped around your unique needs. I draw on Person-Centred Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), always tailoring these approaches to support you best. My work is rooted in a humanistic belief that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and change.

Online-Therapy

Experience therapy from the convenience of your own home, office, or any solitary location with our secure remote sessions. Online therapy is typically offered in tandem with in-person appointments, except in exceptional cases. All virtual sessions are conducted through encrypted, secure video software for your privacy and safety.
